Harwich is at the end of the line. Literally, it’s the last stop on the railway line. Beyond that there is only the North Sea. This neglected part of the Essex coast lacks the fizz of Southend or the suburban stateliness of Frinton but there’s a wealth of interesting architecture to be found there and in its neighbour Dovercourt.
