Calais Ferry Port
Ferry Ports are strange places – the fences, the barbed wire, the surveillance cameras – the sheer emptiness.
They feel like sovereign territories – not connected or belonging to the country they are located in. Calais Ferry Port is a perfect example of ‘ferry port weirdness’.
A lone gull has the temerity to invade the emptiness.
