Miguel Fisac was a modernist Spanish architect working during the Franco era. He designed some amazing buildings, particularly churches and it’s incredible that he’s not better known. I filmed some for the Jonathan Meades programme ‘FrancoBuilding’, telling the history of the architecture of Franco’s Spain. Fisac’s buildings were completely original and quite breathtaking to visit. Below you can view some of his work as it ended up in the film.
