These are from a trip in November 2018 to Aragon and Rioja, filming for a documentary with Jonathan Meades on Franco’s Architecture. The trip took in the city of Zaragoza, the stunning Arantzazu sanctuary up in the mountains of the Basque Country and the national park of Bardenas Reales, a little bit of Spain that looks like Monument Valley in the American West.
